My Little Passenger Install
So I haven't seen too many pictures on Little Passenger Seat install. I have a 2013 Trail Edition that came with the pull out cargo tray. I need to have a third row seat with kids so I planned on getting a Little Passenger seat. I just bought my 4Runner and was lucky enough to find someone 2 miles away who was selling a used one that was in a different vehicle. It took some doing since I didn't have the right brackets and had to make many trips to the hardware store to get the right gear and make sure it was safe. Overall it came in okay and the kids love it plus I have it facing backwards so they can enjoy the window down, and the added benefit is that now there is a real cool perfect size hidden storage space that holds my first aid kit, emergency kit, and small tool bag, plus I still have the small cargo hidden compartment thing. Below is a link to the pictures. It's a little dirty but I only paid $300 used vs. $1200 new. Does anyone have any idea on where I could get some kind of seat cover to fit it that might match better and hide the stains.

Only bad thing was when I was drilling it through the floor it popped through suddenly and I "nicked" the KDSS flexible hydraulic line...

Oops, I know the KDSS can be a problem for some so I am hoping it doesn't cause an issue. Worst case if I'm on the trail and the line blows and fluid leaks, do you know if it will still drive. I assume the KDSS won't function properly but I would expect you would still be able to drive it? Considering having someone just replace that hose, it's only a small 8in section of flexible hose, but I know the whole system is pressurized so it would probably be very expensive. I only nicked it and cut down to where the wire mesh that protects the inside line but not through it.... what do you guys think?
