That isn't easy to answer, because you virtually never find one for sale at the base price. They put different options on different ones. The area of the country where you live determines a price correction. If you are trading in do they want your vehicle or are they shipping it off to the wholesale yard. Also, is it near the end of the month where a better deal can be had if the previous week's sales have been low. Check Edmund's .com to get their average selling price and try working your price a little below that price. If you can write them a check today versus having to search for financing can also make a little difference. If they have the vehicle in stock versus having to do a search and send someone out to do a dealer swap can affect your price. Colors that are not moving can also affect the price. Just go out there and offer a price that is fair in your opinion and see what they say. If it does not please you there are other dealers around who may be willing to accept your offer. I always go in with a fair price in mind and if they say no I just turn around and leave and check somewhere else. I do not get into price haggling between salesman and their so called bosses. They know up front how much they can let the vehicle go for, so if I start to leave I go unless they quickly state, "we can meet your price". Between my wife and I we have purchased 23 new vehicles over many years and I feel that I have always gotten a fair price, otherwise, I would not buy it. Do not let them take control of the deal.....you will lose. Deal on your terms or be willing to walk.
