Look what I caught!!!!

Just wanted to share some photos with everyone. I went Charter fishing for my very first time Sunday, and with a little bit of beginners luck, I landed the biggest catch of the day, a 37" King Salmon ~26lbs. I went home with the Biggest Catch Jackpot of $100. Basically every fisherman on the boat put in 5 bucks into the pot, and at the end, I took it! Oh what a feeling! Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

I used to go fishing with my dad off of Treasure Island. However, we never caught salmon, just stripe bass and a whole lot of leopard sharks.
Anyway, nice catch! You've got me craving salmon skin rolls now.

Thanks guys. Those gulls knew exactly what they were doing. At first I was like, "Why are these birds folowing the boat, don't that have fish to catch?" But little did I know, the Skipper was gutting all the fish we had caught as we were heading back towards the mainland. He tossed all the guts into a bucket that would fill up after about 10 fish, then he would dump the guts into the sea. That's why the gulls followed us, and thats how I got such a good shot .

This is Salmon season bro!! Get out there to Point Reyes with your dad again and start reelin them in! If it wasn't for my wife being 8mo pregnant, I would be out there this weekend again.
