Looking for my first 4runner

Hey guys. Nice site you got here. Looking to move up from my POS of an Audi to a 4runner. Here are a couple that are around me that im interested in.

2005 Toyota 4Runner V8 'Sport Edition'
Hes asking 13,900 and I was going to offer 13,000 even due to timing belt and water pump not being done.

2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport, $15,975 - Cars.com
Asking 15,900. Was going to offer 15,000 even.

I like the white one with lower miles, the VVTI V8, and updated styling. Am I crazy for offering what Im going to offer?

I personally don't think you are offering too much, but that is based on the Alberta market, not your area's market. I like the white one better as well, and I would start at $14500 and see what they counter at, but that is just me. Good luck!

Shoot that's a great offer. I got mine for $22k OTD just last February. I have zero regrets either. Get the white OE...updated looks FTW

on the 06 the bug deflector will have left marks in the hood so keep that in mind

On the 06, clean trade in is $14,250 and clean retail is $17,475. With that the truck is price about right in the middle. I always like to start the negotiation with trade in value. If this is the exact color and options you want, then you can pay more towards retail and be happy you found the one you wanted.

We just bought an 08 white sport edition last week. I would go for the 06 and would be very happy with 15k.
