I've been a member for a long time now. Ssierr08, nortex and I'm out. Well now I'm focused on work. My question is if I set up a paypal account would anyone throw .50 or better in there. It all going to the family video LYMPHOMA research. I reached out last yr on the forums with great sucess. There is no prize for me at all other than knowing people will help.

Huh?! Are you trying to scam people by using a medical condition? Why don't you tell us to send money to an actual medical cancer center instead of your own bank/paypal account?? What can you do with the money??

You cannot just set up a PayPal acct and ask people to drop money in it for research. If you are collecting for a not for profit, there are a list of things you must do before you can legally set one up. Not to mention (but I will) when you take money over Paypal and you are not a not for profit you can and will get a 1099 to claim as income. This is why you set up a not for profit in the first place. Because you have not set up a NFP it makes this look like a ploy to generate income from bleeding hearts. Myself and Thai, out hearts do not bleed when we smell fish.....

That was my post from gmfullsize. Scam people probably alittle strong! I sold suspension for mcg for yrs over there. I don't have a medical condition nor would I ever use it against people if i did. You don't want to donate thats fine but don't put down a good cause for your lack or trust. Please explain how my post are questionable.

A simple search of your posts on this forum will explain my statement.

Ok...for the benefit of the doubt, explain to all of us what you're gonna do with the donated money. Isn't it much easier (and way more credible!) to ask people to donate to YOUR hospital or cancer center of choice?? Donating to a personal paypal account is just dumb and scamming!

I would like to see a similar post on the GM forum that you frequent...asking them for donation into your personal paypal account.

Again, tell all of us how you're going to use the money. And yeah, give specifics...as to where the money is going. I can give you a place right now...MD Anderson in Houston Texas...the premier #1 ranked worldwide cancer research center and they deal plenty with lymphoma. And with you being in TX, you should know it well since you claim to have done so much research on lymphoma (via PM).

Just like any business that donates to us. We take the cash do a donation from our store. The money goes to the family video lymphoma tissue bank. This is a way to keep up with the donations.
