Mobil 1 Instant Savings at Sam's Club

Just a heads up that Sam's has $10 instant savings on a 6-qt carton, reducing the price down to $27.78.

Walmart is typically cheapest with oil and their 5-qt jugs of name-brand full synthetic are usually $22.47, with Mobil 1 higher at $25.47.

So the Sam's deal gives you Mobil 1 at about $4.63/qt compared to around $4.49/qt for the other name brand synthetics and $5.09/qt for Mobil 1 at Walmart. I'll gladly pay .14/qt more for Mobil 1.

Another thing you might want to think about is what I did in the past....

Its a secret but not really....

Oils really do not have a shelf life but manufacturing packing does...

Go to a small retailer (local part store)..

Ask if they have any discontinued oil that is not on the shelf...Technically since it is still in inventory (but not on display) the have to sell it too you if they are not trying to keep it for themselves..

The last run I made I picked up 10 oil changes (6 qts each) w/ filter for around $40......The filters were cheap cause I have a commercial account

If you're a sale/rebate chaser:

*M1 usually has their manufacturer's rebate 2x year (spring/fall).
*Sam's/Costco sale price M1 periodically.

If you can line the two together, it's even a greater savings.
