That says installed at a dealership. What about OEM from the factory?

You get what you pay for. If you dont plan on keeping for long go cheap. If you plan on keeping it go for Stainless Steel especially in salty Chi-town. Pay once - cry once. Pay $600 forever or pay $300 every 3 years for something cheap.

This is my Napa tail pipe. The muffler is just as rust free. It's 3-4 years old and between the two vehicles the systems been on there's at least 10,000 miles on it now.

Finally got around to ordering one today.
The $119 mufflers are for CA emissions only. They have 2 cats, so the tailpipe is shorter I assume.
Federal emission models (1 cat) are all $155+. I ordered through summit as they were cheapest.
Walker model 55054. Ordered 2 gaskets and the bolts are on backorder for a month so I will try to find some locally.
The tailpipe section looks like it may have been replaced already because it looks in much better shape than the muffler section. All in with gaskets and muffler I am $165. Just need a couple hours to get under there and try and get the old one out and new one in. I will report back.

Question... y’all are talking from the cat converter back to replace correct?? For like $300 or so.
What about from engine /cat/o2 sensor n muffler plus pipes?
I had to have muffler to tail done n they welded it, I’m sure it’s a crap job.
Now I have a noise like a hole would make sounds like up front.
Was thinking just replace the whole thing but cost?
Could I go pick n pull to get the parts? Brands?

$151 shipped and got a couple gaskets from amazon. Summit was cheapest with free shipping. They have $115 models, BUT THEY ARE ONLY FOR CALIFORNIA EMISSION VEHICLES. Make sure you check before ordering.
This only replaced the section from after to the Cat to the tail pipe section. I had to cut the old muffler off and grind the bolts off the tail pipe section because I was too cheap to buy a new one. The new one bolted right up no problem and sounds great. Has a little rumble at idle when cold, but then when it warms up you can't even hear it. Driving down the road is almost silent and now you hear all the road noise. Very happy with product and fitment.
However, I did a little more looking around while under there and noticed the frame is getting a little too much rust. Couple small holes starting on the inside frame near the middle of the car- not the typical suspension mounting points.
I think it's time to let this car go to a new owner. Shes a good runner but I am not a fan of the rust.

What bolts for flange?
I have the same problem with a flange rusting out.
I had to grind off the bolts and am not sure what bolts to use as replacements.
I'm looking at Walker cat-back kit from RockAuto but it does not include the bolts.

- Shouldn't I need only 2 gaskets for the muffler & tailpipe?
- One between the tailpipe & muffler and one between the muffler & catalytic converter?
