Muffler Replacement Question

UPDATE

I answered my own question. I'm getting the Borla universal 2.5" one I posted in the link below.

---------------------------------------

I have some photos posted below to detail what my current muffler situation looks like. If you can't tell, the muffler obviously needs to be replaced due to the tail pipe being completely removed from the muffler due to rust. I took it to a few shops and they are asking way too much to purchase a muffler through them, but I've spoken to a couple who say they will install whatever I purchase. Now that's where I'm confused on what to buy. Judging by what I looked at, there appears to be zero evidence of anything factory left over since everything appears custom welded (the previous owner installed a Vortex Cherrybomb). I think the current sound is too loud and obnoxious, so now I'm looking for the cheapest way to replace this. I've looked at a few things listed below that I found through searching:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-54681/overview/

Amazon.com: Borla 40665 Turbo XL Center/Offset Universal Performance Muffler: Automotive

Judging by the photos on the Summit Racing link, that appears it is a direct bolt on. If I brought either of those in, would a shop like Midas be able to weld it on to my existing pipes? What would a reasonable price quote for labor be?

Here are the photos:

If you want a stock quiet sound, then this is a good option if the flange at the cat is still there.

Amazon.com: Walker 55054 Quiet-Flow Stainless Steel Muffler Assembly: Automotive

Amazon.com: Walker 54081 Tail Pipe: Automotive

I got everything from the CAT back (two pieces) from Napa for about 420 dollars. If your flanges are good it's a easy job.

It doesn't appear to me that there are any flanges. I'm just wondering if a muffler shop would be able to work with the choices I posted.

I did the walker quiet flow as a few months back and although it is quiet. I can already tell a difference in the initial sound to what it is now. It's gotten louder. I even replaced the flange gaskets and its just the muffler is getting louder. the portion of the muffler is folded together to complete the oval is already starting to come undone. I've tacked it together and hope I can squeeze a few more years out of it. I should have went borla the first time around. You get what you pay for and 100 isn't what it used to be. I'm not dissapointed but the quality isn't there and if you live in a state with extreme temp. Swings this thing is sensative to those conditions. It 'pops' in and out when it gets so hot and cools down.
If you don't have the flange your half way there. Save yourself the grief and get a borla have it welded in

Yeah I just answered my own question after reading a bit more. I'm just buying that $100 Borla that I posted and having it welded on. I was just confused by the 2.5" and 2.25". Apparently it doesn't matter which you get. This was easier to figure out than I thought.

Chuckles89 was your runner already warmed up in that video? Damn I bought the same muffler but still haven't got it installed yet, kinda debating now if I still want it on lol sounds pretty loud, kinda debating if I want the magnaflow

Yes, it was warmed up. It is pretty loud, but quieter than a Flowmaster 40
