Well the 4th generation Nano's just came out this past Tuesday. 8gb or 16 gb for $149 or $199 respectively. Not a bad price if you have cash laying around. Just buy one and leave it in the center console hooked into the AUX input.

The classic iPod goes up to 160GB. Which has 8x's more storage than my old laptop. With the 160GB and (don't know if it's launched) the unlimited downloading from iTunes subscription, you'll have every album you can possibly imagine and probably won't have to listen to the same song twice in decades.

If you don't care for the looks or appeal of the mp3 player (especially if you keep it in your truck all day) don't go with apple. You can get a much better $ to GB ratio when you buy other brands of mp3 players. iPods are overpriced in my opinion...
