Need ideas for a bumper

So here's my delima. I fish a lot and with the new boat I purchased to load/unload at most ramps my back tires are in the water. Seems all the boat ramps are very gradual and force this scenario. I've gotten by fine this summer with warm water and flip flops just stepping off the trailer after loading to get in the 4R. But fall is approaching with cool temps and I won't be in waders at the boat ramp. I don't have anything really to use as a step to scurry from my back bumper to the passenger side door to dry land. I'm planning to get new front bumper and rock sliders in the future and was wondering if anyone knew of a rear bumper that would possibly have a cutout step in the side of it to help with this/accessing the rear to put stuff on the roof etc. the issue has made me even consider a Tacoma/Tundra but I love the 4Runner too much.

You could always open the hatch and crawl through. I'm able to stand on my factory rear bumper. If I'm going to be doing a lot of shuffling on the roof, I open the hatch and hatch window and seems a little more ergonomical to access the roof.

Pretty sure its CBI that makes a rear bumper that has hoops on it, those could be used to scurry to the front with. I think most aftermarket bumpers have a little bit of a flat section before going vertical that you could use too. Have you looked at this? ( http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/102876-bumper-list.html ) it was the top hit when I googled "3rd gen 4runner rear bumper" and is a pretty complete list of aftermarket bumpers with pictures.

I may have to call CBI. I love the one with the side tubes that come up on the quarter panels and those would probably make good steps. I didn't see that option in the cart for their bumpers though.

I like the way they look, but you're right, I didn't see them in the options either. I thought of doing something similar when I did my bumper build, but I dont have access to a pipe bender
