Bit the bullet. Now I want to do a little cosmetic tweaking, starting off with replacing the shiny 20" wheels and touring tires with some more aggressive 17's. I wanted all the amenities that came with the Limited but now I want to toughen up the look a little. Any suggestions for sizes (I do not want to alter the suspension) and wheel brands and models? I'm looking for some matte black rims. Don't hate the TRD wheels and they seem to be in abundance on ebay and craigslist.

pic! blizzard pearl is my favorite. I have trd off road wheels and prefer them to trd pro wheels. However blizzard pearls look great with trd pro wheels, if you are staying at 265 that is probably the wheel I would go with. They are like 700-800 set

First..Congrats! The Limited is by far the best 4Runner trim level that Toyota has to offer. You are really going to be happy. There are alot of great Limited builds on this forum.
Sorry to see that you ditched the OEM wheels. They give the truck a very distinct look and really provide the Limited with superior off road capabilities.
If you really want to toughen up the look, Id suggest starting with an aftermarket bumper and some Toytech spacers to give it a little height. Also you may want to lose the running boards.
Here is one example of a bumper. This one is made by Shrockworks.
Best of luck with whichever direction you decide to go. A quarter of the fun is making the rig your own. The other 75% is wheeling it.

If you are in or around NJ i have a Brand new set of method race NV(MR305) wheels. Brand new and the perfect size for our 4runners. I posted the in the 5th gen for sale thread yesterday. Super cheap and brand new in box!

Nice! I was searching for a Blizzard Pearl Limited with black TRD wheels to see what it was like. I'm considering getting a 2019 Limited in Blizzard Pearl with Redstone and converting the 20" wheels to be dedicated winter wheels and to get a TRD set with meaty tread for summer use.

You can frequently find the TRDOR wheels from someone who got TRD wheels from the dealer, that's not a bad choice if you like the look (and you're not getting rid of the chrome). I got my from a forum user and I think I paid about $400 for the wheels with no tires.

First part is subjective but to me and most they are soccer mom wheels.
Larger diameter and smaller tires are for improved MPG's as most limiteds are sold to people who don't offroad. They most certainly do not "provide the Limited with superior off road capabilities". There is a reason why the PRO and TRD OR are sold with 17in wheels and not 20in.

I actually like the look of the 20s, but ditched them after a brief jaunt through Hidden Falls near Austin when I learned what thin sidewalls feel like. On the plus side, I got a lumbar adjustment for free, so there's that in the 20 camp!
