New 84 4Runner

Hey guys, I have just recently purchased a 1984 4Runner and it is awesome. But the only problem I have with it is that it did not come with the gas cap door. I have been searching on the internet for one and have had no luck. If anyone could tell me where I could find one, that would be great.

P.S. Does anyone know of a company that makes a push/brush guard for the 84 4Runner?

Welcome to the forums! If I was in your situation, i would contact your local Toy dealer and see if they can special order you one. There also sites that can order you OEM replacement parts. Try: http:www.toyautoparts.com/ Hopefully that'll help. If you absolutely can not find one, you may want to look at aftermarket parts. Also, I believe they do in fact make guards for your year. The site I listed above has OEM replacement and aftermarket parts available. Good Luck! -Dan

PS: If the site listed does not carry your gas cap cover, just search: "1984 Toyota 4Runner OEM parts" in the web. Usually brings up tons of stuff!

Junk yards/salvage yards are a geat place to look too.

Might also use the 1st gen pickup truck gas doors also.
