I picked up an 05 Sport Edition 4runner a few months back.
I've got buddies in the Jeeping world and came very close to purchasing a JKU, but I opted for the much cheaper 4runner. More creature comforts, more power, and a better family vehicle. But I've still got the urge to get muddy.
I'd like to check out some of the easier/beginner trails in the pine barrens to get more comfortable with the trucks abilities as-is. I've no budget at the moment for mods, but am still researching tires and lift (and thanks to the xreas it'll be a spacer and fj spring lift)
On a personal note, I'm a self employed web developer. 7-8 months ago I took the plunge into self employment... hence the zero budget for now.
