Hello all! Thought I should officially introduce myself since I've been lurking for over a year now. I bought my first Toyota about 1.5 years ago and I'm a true convert!
My name is Bobby, I'm a full-time Respiratory Therapy student (done in May!) I recently sold my solid axle'd Ford Explorer that was my trail pig for a while, but owning two vehicles while in college isn't feasible. So the money from that sale went into my 1996 4Runner Limited!
I bought the truck from the original owner, with full documentation on all the work done to it. Its a 96' 4x4 automatic, non e-locker, bone stock with 223k on the clock.
I'll make a build thread in the correct section, but fast forward a year: Currently has OME 881/90004 front and OME 890/60027 rear, 285/75/16s Treadwright Mtr's on crawler wheels, 240k and a few more dings and dents :naughty:
I just swapped out the rear last night with a 4.30 geared E-locker with 100k. Only issue now is finding a front to match, (found one for $350 OUCH!)
Trail-Gear 67" sliders just came in the mail today!
