Hello all,
I recently bought a 2016 SR5 4WD and it is great! I really love it so far. It is my first Toyota, I am coming a Chevy truck. The only thing is that when I am driving anywhere from 30 to 40 mph on a flat or downhill road, when I let off the throttle it automatically downshifts. It is an odd feeling and slightly annoying because when it does this it pulls me toward the steering wheel because of the change in momentum. I am wondering if this is normal transmission behavior and just a quirk with the 4runner transmission? The truck has 30,000 miles.
Also, before I bought my truck I did hours of research and I just want to thank all of you for all of the information you give to help others with their trucks. It seems like a great community!
