OEM Gunmetal TRD Pro wheels paint match to MGM

I've looked a several pics of the OE Gunmetal TRD wheels on 1G3 Magnetic Grey Metallic 5th gens. Sometimes it looks like it's a perfect match and other times it looks like the wheels are a lighter colored grey.

Can anyone running these on the MGM confirm how close the paint matches?

I assume you mean the OEM TRD Pro wheels. If so, there are 2 different part numbers for the gunmetal wheels. Don't quote me but I believe 1 wheel is matte & the other is a satin or "semi gloss".

I am picking up my classic silver with the TRD gunmetal wheels tomorrow, if that will help. Can post a picture if you want.

The OEM TRD Pro Gunmetal Grey Gloss PTR2035110G4. I know the silver matte does not match. Like I mentioned, sometimes they look like a perfect match and other times lighter depending on the lighting/sun.

they don't match, but once your vehicle and rims get dirty, you will have a matching, dirty blob of grey.

That's what I was suspecting. I've already got the matte black TRD Pro and can't see spending all of that money again for something that does not match.

I’m running gunmetal scs wheels and the blob of grey isn’t what I’m very fond of, but doesn’t bother me enough to change em out. Sometime contrast is a good thing.

I recently purchased the Gunmetal TRD pro wheels for my 2021 Magnetic Grey TRDOR. and find they match well.

The two colors are quite close but there are some differences mainly the paint on the vehicle has more metallic particles, the wheels in contrast have a finer metalic particle size. Also to my eyes the tint of grey is slightly different as well, the vehicle has a bluish tint while the wheels have a slightly greenish tint to them.
