OEM Roof Rack slot bolts

Is there a particular slot bolt people use to mount accessories to their stock rack?

I used channel nuts from Home Depot. I think I used the 1/2" (can't remember) to use a bigger bolt but you have to rip off the spring and grind them down a little to make them thinner. The threaded plate above would be easier but I couldn't find these at my Home Depot at the time.
