Off-roading in Tropical Storm Barry 6/2/07

from the driver seat - this looks easy right? Problem is the rear end of the vehicles here would just slide to the left in the mud down this gentle slope even when driving at a snail's pace - and there's a huge drop off to the left so this was a bit of a butt clincher believe it or not

i had such a good time out there, we really need to go back soon! i just had a member pm me and he lives in jville and wants to wheel, so perhaps he will want to check this place out. are you down to go again greg? perhaps we should go when its not wet, there was entirely too much of the park that my tires just couldnt handle wet. i got 2 used mud terrains for sale really cheap greg!!!!

Yeh thats me. This place looks pretty sick man. Im definatley down for going there any weekend. I have an 2006 SR5-4WD (Stock). Do you think it will make it?
Definitely want to go back to the hardrock place - preferably on a day with no tropical storm scheduled to hit Unfortunately my weekends are sort of tied up until roughly mid July. I noticed in the info on their site (see below) that they're gonna be opening up additional areas of the park to 4x4s as the summer goes on - so I'm thinking last weekend of July might be good?
Jeeps and off road vehicles only, now have a section of Hardrock to call there very own. It contains big climbs, a rock garden and trails. Open for use when ever the park is open, which is 7 days a week 10am to 5pm. Starting in June, the last week end of the month you will have an entirely new section open for your use called the Rollercoaster, plus an area which is also used for hare scrambles. Later in the summer we're going to have a Summer Sizzler event where the entire park will be open to off-roader's. So please take advantage of this unique terrain and come and join us for some fun.
Prices : $30.00
Expanded facility use last weekend of each month $40.00
