No, I am not a backyard warrior, just a shooter and a hunter.
Here in california you can get a gun purchasing permit to buy quickly, for a low charge. Some sellers of ammo "demand" you have the permit, even if you only want to buy components, ie bullets.
In Arizona, you decide what you want, the seller gets your info, 15 minutes later the gun, rifle or pistol is in your hands. Assuming you are not restricted.
Good luck getting your permit.
