Oil capacity concern

Hello forum. Owner's manual for 92 V6 states, oil capacity with filter: 5.8 qts. My question: If I put in 6 qts. will the extra .2qts be detrimental to the engine? Thanks

u sure it dont say 4.8 not 5.8 my 90 with the v6 says 4.8 usually takes around 5

90t4r, You are correct. It is 4.8 qts. I didn't have manual with me when I made my 1st post. I'm concerned that 'quick-lube' places won't ensure that they put in the .8 qts. If an extra .2qt makes a difference. Thanks.
