I don’t remember seeing this plastic cover before, can someone point me in the right direction of what that is? I did check the pan bolts and some were a little loose in this area so I’m hoping it was just that, but I have a feeling my rear main is starting to leak. No real loss of oil.

It looks like a rear main seal between the engine and transmission; there is a product you could try IF it is the rear main seal. It's called AT-205 RE-SEAL, just add the bottle to your engine oil. Only thing is you have to add a bottle with every oil change.
