Am going to be picking up a new Force L or XL soon (still mulling that over) for our 2024 4Runner. A lot of the gear going into it will be soft things like dufflel bags, sleeping bags, and a tent. However, we also need to store loose things like food and miscellaneous items. In the past, I used cardboard boxes to pack two large Plano boxes so everything wouldn't slide around and jumbled together on the 17 miles of dirt Forest Service road we drive on to get to our cabin. Can anyone recommend a plastic bin (size?) that works well inside a Thule cargo box to keep loose gear like food from sliding around?
Also, in the L vs XL debate...at first I thought XL all the way, as you can never have too much space, right? (my wife says I always pack too much stuff!). But if it's just the two of us, the box will probably not be full very often. Does an XL fit comfortably on a 5th Gen 4Runner?
