Our 3rd gen survived the San Clemente HS bomb threat

If you didn't see it on the news today, San Clemente High School was evacuated today due to a possible bomb. My daughter, a senior, survived the ordeal. I was just grateful they took it so seriously. You never know? The 4Runner brought them safely home!!

I can't wait to hear all about it when I get home later.

My High School would have a bomb threat the day that a new Call of Duty or Halo came out. And they had to investigate it, so they would close school, and yes my 4runner and defender brought me home safely each time it happened.

A kid in my class called in a bomb threat during finals week in high school. Turns out one of his friend didn't want to take his final, so he called the school. We ended up hanging out on our football field for a few hours and I got out of my math final. It was pretty sweet.

Bizare.

According to the story, someone at Camp Pendleton found "writings" by a 22 y/o Navy Corpsman that indicated (somehow) something about blowing up the high school.

It doesn't say he ever actually visited the school and was not at the school when arrested. The military called in the bomb threat to the school.

This is going to be a pretty tough case for prosecutors because thought crime is not illegal (yet).
