Parrot Asteroid Smart updates Steering Wheels Controls!!!

Parrot just came out with a new update (2.1.4) and apparently they worked with metra because now there is an adapter available (AX-SWC-PARROT) that will adapt the metra ASCW-1 to the parrot asteroid. This is great news for us 4runner owners with steering wheel controls and a parrot asteroid smart. I will try to get my hands on one soon and see how it goes.

The parrot asteroid smart is an Android touch screen head unit. Until now, steering wheel controls in 4runners weren't compatible.

Funny I was just looking into one of these the other day. Do you have any pics from your install and or where you fed all the wires?

I've been meaning to write up my install and a review on the unit. Maybe I'll try to get that done today. I love it though. Awesome unit that is 10 times better than any touch screen head unit and years ahead.
