Picking up a 2007 limited V8

Good news which I thought may interest you! I decided to try it again today. First time it beeped at me again, second time it engaged, I drove it around and it seemed just fine. I think I may be good to go. I will continue to test it out a few more times and hopefully all goes well. It looks like it may have just been a bit stuck from lack of usage before I bought it. *Keeping fingers crossed!*ray2:

Hopefully all is good. Mine was slow at engaging when I first bought it also.

Great info, thanks! I bought new domes today and it works fine. I'm going to drop the truck off this week and let them do the leather and climate control lights at the same time. I just want to see if there are any other things to get done at the same time.

Is there any thread dealing with increasing the number of power outlets? (Car type, not 110v)

Very nice and congrats on the kiddos. We just made our move to a 06 SR5 V8 due to a little one on the way. We purchased ours with 63,000 a few weeks ago and got to talk to the tech who was doing some basic maintenance on it before we sat down to negotiate. He said he checked all 4wd systems...etc and all was working fine. Sure enough I take his word for it and try to engage 4lo the following day and no go. So now the dealer has had it longer than I have, but it is being fixed by a Toyota dealer with new actuator. Only costing me some grief. Cant wait to get it back and actually use it before the first payment is due.

i put my CDL actuator seizing on the dealership as well. I had them check everything and they said was A-OK. Which obviously was false so they covered labor if i covered parts. $700 later it was fixed. I figured it was fair since it was almost a year after i had bought it.
