Has anyone bought premium seats from either a wrecked premium or direct from a dealership the premium seats? It's the only thing I wish my Trail Edition had, and I'm considering upgrading. I imagine there'd also be seat warmer wiring to consider though that's less of a need for me than just the SofTex.

Just get aftermarket leather like Katzkin or Alea professionally installed. You don't have to get heaters if you don't want to. The leather quality will be much better than Softex.

i added khatzkin leather at time of purchase along with heated seats. best upgrade i could have done. did not want cloth seats at all as i have an 8 month old, and am sure to have everything under the sun dumped on my seats. the quality is great, and the seat heaters work very well. wish i would have gotten heated/cooled seats in hind sight, but now I'm just splitting hairs. Now if i can just find a trail premium overhead controls panel so i can have home link all will be right in my world.

Yeah, I did. I bought a set of Softex covers off eBay for $400, and swapped them myself. It was tedious, but not an impossible diy.
I looked at Katzkin as well, good quality stuff and actual leather. The problem that I had was that they require you to use a local installer, and mine was very expensive.
