Question for the CO folks

So the in-laws just moved to Loveland and it looks like we'll be heading down there for the 4th. They live right around the corner from Boyd Lake so we were going to pull the SeaDoo down. I was wondering if anyone knows if Boyd Lake is worth a damn to play on, or is there any other lakes right around that area that would be better? I'll be heading to the lake up here for a couple days tomorrow so I won't be around till Tuesday, but any input would be greatly appreciated.

The trip was good. As a matter of fact we just got back today from another trip down. Boyd Lake ain't too bad, but they have a speed limit. What the hell is that all about? I could see if it was a tiny lake but it is a fairly decent size. Oh well, it was a good time anyways.
