We have experienced a lot of push back in the past from at least 1 member who likes to complain about Group Buys.

We are an Official Vendor and had several of our GB Threads Deleted, or Moved, without contact from Admins.

Hence, why you have not seen us share any Group Buys on T4R recently.

We do try and give back to the community as much as we can, and that will not stop.

Lol...this exactly!! Several "vendors" on this forum just spam the forum with the same "deals" time and time again. These "deals" are the same that can be found all over the net. In the end, they contribute nothing to the quality of these forums.

Mike, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by publishing our conversations on the public forum. There is a lot of misinformation and confusion it seems.

The short of it is, if you are organizing a non-for-profit group buy, go for it. But if you're making a profit out of it, you need to be an Official Vendor. This is mainly to prevent the forum from becoming one big billboard, and to be fair to other sponsors.

The confusion part is, you say "I'm NOT an employee of RCI" in one email, and in another say that you are part RCI". So not sure which is it.

Let's continue this conversation over PM/email.

I had a lot of group buys up and running as well and every one of them was deleted without being contacted before/after.

My group buy was also deleted. I did receive an answer from you via PM. However I do not work for or with URD and am not making a profit, nor was I asked my affiliation. By those standards, my group buy should not have been deleted either. Very confused by your statement

You are not the only one this is happening to. Looks like the “rules at being changed on the fly to justify some of this, and to hit up people to pay a vendor fee. It’s really sad. This was supposed to be a site for members, not a site for vendors before members. Why the sudden change? Does T4R need funding, or what?

Dude I was a member trying to sell a few extra wiring harnesses I made myself, so I’m not a business or promoting a brand, and my threads were deleted. Welcome to the new standard I guess.

Ya man it's sad. Honestly BS. I am not a vendor working for profit either. Just another guy trying to help forum members get a good deal on a good product and put what knowledge I have out there for everyone.

All the pleas and explanations to the admins were met with "you need to be an official vendor" and the latest email of mine did not even get a response. Do I need to pay to get a response as well?

It was nice to have the GBs take place, be all inclusive, competitive, have actual deals. Now all you see are GBs from 2-3 "official" vendors. So much for variety and competition, and scoring a killer deal.

My group buy for TemboTusk is back on. Just took one PM after I got back from travel today. Maybe they're turning over a new leaf. I know it takes a lot to keep this forum running so give it another shot?
