Do you want to just lift it back to stock? Do you want better load handling? Do you want better handling without extra load?01 sr5 220k miles. Rear Springs are starting to sag a bit maybe a half inch.
Instead of replacing the rear springs, has anyone installed adjustable air shocks on the rear?
He's talking about shocks that have a Schrader valve that you can add air to to add lifting force to the suspension. I don't know of any with a 3rd gen 4Runner application, but they do exist for trucks and some other applications (mini vans, etc.).Are you talking about the air bags that mount inside the rear coil springs?
I just want to get it back to original level maybe a half an inch higher than back. Years ago, I put your shocks on the rear of the car and it helped it Sit better. Just investigating alternatives before spring get bad and that’s my only alternative.
