Rear Cargo Mat

Does anyone make a rubber mat that would cover the complete rear area including the flat area you have when the rear seats are folded down?

We rarely have use for the 2nd row of seats so this would make the most sense for us especially when traveling.

I would be interested in the same size rubber mat if you find one.

As to your original question - I haven't seen any rear mats large enough to cover the rear area when the rear seats are folded down. I have seen vinyl covers that will protect most of the back end with the rear seats folded down. I'll find a link if you are interested. I've thought about buying one of these covers as we often travel with our pooch.

David - Thanks for the reply. Might do vinyl if rubber not available. Did send an e-mail to Weathertech to find out if the full cover might be available. Have to wait and see.

Weathertech and Husky makes liners that fit the back trunk cargo area. Noone makes one that covers the folded down portion for the rear seats, but You can improvise and custom build one. It will be much cheaper as well...

I have Weathertech Cargo liner, and it was $130 shipped.

As promised:

Now I got the mat that covers the entire back area without the Double decker system. If you notice, the end don't fit perfectly. The Double decker option is a small mat and I wanted full coverage even though not a perfect fit, because this guy loves to break dance fight by himself back there...

I got some outdoor carpeting and cut it to size. Flipped it over so the rubber side is facing up. This helps to keep items from sliding around. Also cut some side pieces to protect the interior wheel well covers.
A BedNet Utility Cargo Net for a small pickup keeps the heavy things tied down...just in case of operator error.

I appreciate all the replies. Actually took some time to do a search <G>.

Uneek had posted some great pics of his Husky liners both for the front and for the cargo area. Will probably go in this direction due to the way the cargo liner actually molds down into the depressions by the tail gate and that in the front the foot rest is covered. Will also save some bucks.
