Recall For Stallng Out On Highway

Hello Fellas,

I was looking at a 2015 trail edition (62k miles), but the dealer told me that they could not sell to me/deliver the vehicle until they (Toyota) figure out why the vehicle would cut out while driving. He told me it applies to all '14 and 15 models.
Any insight to this issue would be great.

Check out the fuel pump recall currently open for Toyota/Lexus. This one probably falls into that group.

Thanks for the replies, the problem must be more than just a fuel pump. Otherwise they would just replace it with a new one. Because thats what I said to the used car manager. His response was " if it was something that simple, they would have replaced it". So I don't know.

I'm not sure parts are available yet, or are in limited supply? Seems I got a notice a while back about the recall for our '14, and I think it mentioned that.

Anyone know for sure, or am I dreaming that up?
