Greetings to everyone, as the title says I am now a proud 4Runner owner after driving and loving a Tacoma for 8 years. I loved taking my Taco off the beaten path and I am looking forward to putting my 07 Runner to work. I had to sell the Taco due to a growing family, now I have 3 rows of seats for people to enjoy the rocks and ruts. In my spare time I am a landscape photographer and I have used my vehicles extensively in this pursuit. As far as my new toy -- just picked up my OME kit from Toytec today -- and a big thanks to the guys and gals down there! New tires next week...

What camera do you shoot by the way.

Ever hard of Peter Lik?

When I went to Hawaii in June...I walked into one of his stores. Gorgeous film photography.

I also use to have a taco before the runner. Im sure you will love it. What tires are you planning on getting?

Welcome, beautiful landscape shots. Owning both, I can't say that I would prefer one over the other.

I have an SR5 and its silver -- which seems to be a very popular color here in CO. Thanks for the compliments on my hobby -- I shoot with a Canon 5D. I think I went to one of the Lik galleries in Vegas -- he's quite good.
My brother and I just intalled the OME lift on Saturday, it was a little different than the Taco -- but not terrible. As far as tires I am leaning toward Goodyear Silent Armor in either 265/70/17 or 255/75/17. I can't decide if I would like the taller thinner tire or the "normal" width. I've had BFG's and Revo's, but haven't tried any of the 'Years yet.
So far the only thing I miss about the Taco is being able to sleep in the back. I had a topper and it was great to crash wherever I needed to -- though it was a tight fit since I'm 6'6".
No pics of the rig at this point -- looks a little strange with the stock rubber!
