I had a 92 cherokee when I lived in South Dakota. I could not get that thing stuck in the winter time. No matter how bad the roads were, it keep on going.
 
I am sure there is a market for honest, basic 4x4's still, but probably not big enough for any mfg. to do it- the Roxor is the closest so far, but getting those road legal is not a small challenge.

Not to mention they just lost a legal battle with FCA because they look too much like a jeep... duh... Not sure what the affect will be on their market in NA. I do like them though. I'd definately consider one if I was looking to buy a side by side.

So far all Mahindra had to do was change the grill. Personally, it looks much better with the FJ style grill than the previous one.
