Rock Slider welding points..

Recently acquired my set of BAMF rock sliders.. These things are built like tanks!

Just wondering if anyone has any install advice and can provide pictures of the exact points of where it is welded up to the frame.

During measuring and tacking them up for fitment we found that welding the square tubing flush with the bottom edge of the frame prevents the rear doors from opening. The only way to fix this is to offset the square feet tubing slightly lower then the frame leaving a small gap. Any insight into this would be appreciated.

After further research and asking around I found my answer..

To anyone who wants to know:


The length of the Square tube legs are a standard size for 67" sliders. They "may or may not" need to be trimmed down 1/8 to 1/4" in length in order to fit flush on the frame with the triangular gussets welded to the top. That change in length will allow for slightly more clearance on the plastic bottoms of the rear doors when opening and closing. I can only speak about the BAMF sliders for this situation since thats all I have experience with so far.
