Runs but won't move

I bought a '99 Toyota 4Runner 4WD about a month ago. Today while taking my daughter to church I took a turn and I felt the transmission slip a little. About 1/4 mile up the road my RPM's spiked and I wasn't getting any power. First there was a red fluid that started leaking from underneath. After a few moments antifreeze started leaking also. I haven't noticed any issues signaling any kind of problems up to this point. It's been running great and has plenty of power otherwise. We have had some EXTREME temps here lately so I am not sure if that is a factor or not.

Any input as to what might be the problem would be grealty appreciate. I love the 4Runner and really don't want to end up with something else. I am really hoping for a somewhat simple fix. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Well, where is the fluid coming from? Did a line bust going to the radiator?

I am not sure where it is coming from exactly. It is too cold to go check right now. I will be able to tomorrow as it will be closer to 30 rather than sub zero like it has been.
