I wish i had more of this one. Cop tapped me on the shoulder and said hi ground now. Coast gaurd flew around the corner in a truck screaming get to high ground now and a huge wave came through the harbor.

Im all good thanks, I have a big cliff to protect my house. It hasnt come in any higher than normal, its just surging out and coming back in hard. We will see how it plays out. Im debating on getting out of town for the weekend but the traffic out of here is nuts.

Thoughts and prayers out to all those affected in Japan and anywhere else.

Great videos, but after seeing the ones from the 2004 tsunami I'd stay far away from the shore after seeing the water being sucked out to the ocean.....

Yeah that was some pretty intense stuff today. My friends parents boat almost got hit by one of the free floating boats. Luckily my place is a good enough distance from the beach.
People were walking on the beach on my way home today. Guess everyone is over it now. It wasn't too fun waking up this morning to family and friends calling to tell me about it. I don't have cable so I had no clue what was going on.

My mom and sister live in Crescent City, witch also got hit pretty hard. There is so crazy vids on YouTube of that area also. My brother in law works for there local power company and was called in bout 5am to start preparing to power down the harbor area.
