Saw this today...

What size tires were you running? I hear it is more common on the lifted rigs and or bigger tires coupled with off roading.

Hope my highway hog can hang for a few more miles until i get the time to install my camelback toyota parts next week.

It's all exactly as it left the factory with 265/70/16's zero lift.

LBJs

Hi everyone. 'Been hovering on this wonderful forum for a while now. I have about 250,000 miles (combined city/fwy miles) on my 4runner and never replaced my LBJs yet. After reading all your posts, it scared me shitless and now I'm checking mine first thing in the morning tomorrow for any play...or maybe I should just go ahead and replace them to be on the safe side.

At 250k just replace them with OEM and rest easy.

Is your 4runner 01 or 02 by chance?

Just changed mine. 1996 with no record of being changed before, now I can drive without thinking about them failing 24/7.
