Just bought a 05 4R limited 4.0 V6 with 6K. It sat in moist garage (the outside of dipstick is rusty). Is there any advice for what should be done for maintainence based on age and not mileage. I'm waiting to receive owners manual. Thank you very much!
Welcome and Congrats on your purchase. That's the lowest mileage i've ever seen on this board. Physically check all fluids if they're dirty or not. Then replace the dirty ones. Don't forget to replace the rusty dipstick, too.
i would change the oil, tranny, rad and dif fluids is where i would start. then the plugs, check all fuses and relays then search for any rust and take care of that.
