The motor and housing is fine, but the piece of glass fell off my side view and shattered on the ground. Apparently it was held on with a piece of double stick tape that lost its stickiness over 7 years and 130k miles. My question now is, what is the cheapest way to fix it? I am sure Toyota is going to want to sell me the whole side view housing for several hundred dollars. I am going to check out the local junk yards and maybe try an auto glass place. Any ideas?
