We just got a good pile of snow this weekend hoping to get the rest of the usage out of my season pass for Sierra at Tahoe on Tuesday !!

Many years ago I wanted to snowboard...

I bought Burton boots and a board on sale at the local sports store...

Watched some youtube videos on how to snowboard...

Rode the lift to the top of the mountain by myself...

Wiped out getting off the lift...

Learned how to snowboard on the way down...

Been snowboarding ever since and have had a blast. Can't beat flying down a mountain with some good tunes going on the ipod...

Ride a 2011 Burton Joystick 159W, Mission EST bindings, and Ambush boots. It's about time for new gear, but it's all been holding up nicely.

It all goes in the back of my 4runner with the seats down!

I'm working with a gondola rack company to design a hitch mounted rack system kind of like what you see on the resort buses at the resorts. Getting boards on top of a lifted 4Runner is no fun and the hitch mounted offerings from Yakima and Thule suck.

I just fold half of my backseat down to put the skis in. I usually ski with 3 people so just enough room for a comfortable ride using this method. Toyota should have designed the back seat to fold down only the middle portion so that you can ride 4 people with skis running down the middle but they screwed the pooch on it.

Holy jeebus some of you guys have a lot of skis and boards! Where do you find time to hit the slopes with all of them hahah. Snowboarder here. Been boarding for about 8 years and it freakin rocks.

Used to ride an '08 Burton Custom with Custom Bindings

Now I rock a '12 Never Summer SL 158 with white Burton Cartel bindings. Love that thing. Need a tune-up before I hit the slopes in a few weeks!

Easy! Throw um in the rack and drive to the resort or skin out the drive way for a few laps

I have the same gear I've had forever. My first board, a Burton Brushie that I picked out of a lost and found pile in '95, and a Lamar Roadie widebody that I bought new some time in the early '00s.

I don't ride the Brushie any more. To be honest it's been several years since I've been up at all, but I'm taking my 11 y/o up for his first time this weekend. Really looking forward to it.
