Check out this video. Its a good compilation of toyota crawlers at Moab. Around 3:30 there is a SAS'd 3rd gen with the roof chopped and a soft top on it. Looks pretty sweet.

Does anyone know who Mr. Soft-Top-3rd-Gen is? From what I could see it looks like he as a linked diamond in front. He should have a build thread somewhere...

A little off topic:

... but, does anyone know what 'Crawlorado' is aside from the combination of the words Colorado and Crawling. I've seen stickers on different trucks around town, but from the site it looks like they just sell stickers/decals. Usually people make stickers/decals to advertise their company and products but from what I can tell, all Crawlorado has is stickers/decals. And i guess they make some nice youtube videos. Is there anything more to it?

I've often thought that if I ever roll my 4runner hard enough to trash the roof, then I would buy another vehicle as a beater so I could turn the rolled 4runner into a softop with full roll cage. I saw an amazing mid-90's LC that someone had cut the top off so that it looked like an international scout or old bronco. It almost made me want to sell the 4runner to go buy.

From day 1, I've been thinking about cutting the roof off Tyrone, welding in a cage (having a cage welded in) and fitting a 1st Gen soft top. Hmm... :)

Here's a better picture. I can't remember where I found it, but I came across it a long time ago when I was gathering info for my build.
