What's up guys, here's a little about me.
I've been driving a 1999 GMC Yukon 4x4 ever since I turned 16. I used a lot of my money modding it and stuff, but recently its starting to show her age at 180k. Too many repairs to name lol. My grandpa tried to give his 4runner when I turned 16 but I was set on the Yukon. I talked to him the other day and the deal is still good =D and I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow!

I've been browsing around here for a bit and I like what I see. Very informative stickies and site is well organized. A little about the 4runner, It's a silver 2001 Limited 4x4 with just over 80k miles. Some of the first things I'm looking to upgrade is the Headunit, I want a double din Nav unit. Then I'd really like to get a 3" lift and a set of tires. Then who knows from there!

Well I don't have any pics of the 4runner just yet, but should have some up tomorrow morning. Here's some pics of the Yukon and if your in to car audio you'll love it.

IMHO, those are the best 4runners Toyota ever made. If it wasn't for the 3rd gen's reputation, we wouldn't be driving the 4th and 5th's today. CONGRATULATIONS.
 
Just for reference that is a 2000. Does it have the RR Diff Lock button to the left of the steering wheel? You got a steal on that one. Congrats!

Also you have the Black Pearl emblems, very nice.

Yes you are correct, I could have sworn my grandpa said it was a 2001 and when I was looking over the manual I saw it was a 2000. Good eye! lol

No on the RR Diff Lock, and yeah I thought the emblems looked sweet! :)

I saw you have DDM hids, How do you like them and are they in the stock housing? Thanks

I like the color of the HID's and they are brighter, but they give a scattered light pattern. It's manageable for the price. I bought them off another member and one of the sides takes a few cycles to turn on. I plan on doing a projector retrofit in the future, but I may pull these and put the stock back in.

A lot of people though have them and love them. I'm just not extremely impressed, but they are a cheaper HID.

Also I'm extremely jealous of your disc golf basket. I've wanted one for so long.
 
I've been looking at the projector retros on here and they look pretty awesome! Definitely something I'm wanting to do down the road, but I think I might just go with some hids in the stockers.

And I got that basket for xmas a while back, and love it! It's nice being able to putt around and not have to be at the course. I think the one I have only retails at like $130-150
