Spring Creek CO on Sat, 6/13

Me and [MENTION=112497]VA4Runner09[/MENTION] are looking to run a trail this Saturday. Possibly Spring Creek or something around Denver. Neither of us are too familiar with trails around here. Any suggestions or anyone want to meet up with us?? We're both on 33's, armor, etc. Cheers!

Given the vast amount of rain, I'd be very cautious about any 4-wheelin' locations along the front range. Any water crossings should be very carefully considered; most of the streams/rivers/creeks are flowing at extremely high rates!

I've been out 'looking' but most of the places I have looked, the roads are a muddy, NASTY mess. One (Buchanan Pass) had a bunch of Jeepers who said it was a total nightmare.

Obviously, if you have good mudders, winch, etc. you might make it through without issue, but as the old saying goes "chance favors the prepared mind!"

My 4R-TEP is pretty much stock and I'm close to needing new shoes, so I tend to be a bit conservative with what I will / will not tackle right now.
