Springs and strut

I have a big Question, i heard before that i could put on my 91 v6 4runner the sturts and springs from a older landcruiser without any modification. is that true and does anybody know if it will give my truck a lift.

Replacing the rear coils with LC ones will get you 2" or so in the rear, IIRC.
