Steam Cleaning Headliner

So I have a 2002 4runner with that stupid fuzzy headliner. The headliner is very dirty and I want to clean it. I have one of those small bissell green machines and was wondering if there is any problem using one of these machines on the headliner? The last thing I want to do is dissolve the glue and have a droopy headliner, might as well drive a Chevy if I wanted that. So any thoughts?

Thanks

I have been cleaning my headliner for years with excellent results by using the hose attachment from a carpet cleaner.

Well I bought me one of those little Bissell units and have been cleaning my seats today and decided maybe I can use a light spray of cleaner with a gentle scrubbing on the headliner and then use the Bissell to vacuum out any moisture. Seems that might be the best way, that Bissell unit really sprays out a lot of water, probably too much to do the headliner. Thanks for the response RS Dude!
