Steering gear box fubar?

I felt some clunking and movement in the steering arm so I took off the boot and noticed the driver's side shaft moves up and down when you push the tie rod in. I'm guessing it's done for?

It maybe just the steering rack guide. A leaking rack needs to be replaced but if it's just loose you may be able to simply replace the guide. A couple links are below.

The boot had quite a bit of fluid in it. It dripped out. I'll look over those links. Thanks

That is the video in the first link and it is what my 4runner is doing. Looks like I should get those parts and hope for the best.
