No, but I saw a kid (can't remember his name) on Letterman last week who self-amped his own arm, is that the same guy on dateline you saw? Amazing story.

Yeah ... probably the same one ... he was hiking alone in Blue John Canyon (utah) and a rock fell and trapped his arm .... he spent 6 days there and eventually cut off his own arm (which had already decayed) and had to climb back up through the canyon and hike 7 miles out after rappelling down a cliff with one arm. He lost 45 pounds and 15% of his blood supply.

It's an amazing story, but definitely reminds us to tell people where we're going when we head out for an adventure ... or take a phone ... and always a lot of extra water and food just in case.

I have met the guy a few times, but it was long before this happened ...

Anyway, I admire all those people!

Screw that...i am staying indoors from now on...just another good reason to be a couch potato! The only adventure is getting the mail...and i am not sure that i will be doing that after reading the above!
