The Struggles. :(

SIN-Japan

So installed my new LR UCAs this weekend, that was a fun experience without a ball joint press. :( (Before you ask, there is no places that rent auto equipment around here, Japan)
Either way, got them done and pushed the new ball joint out away from the body as I had seen recommended with the Caster in the D position.
Also replaced my OTEs that the bushing got destroyed a month or so earlier, did the spin count un-install / re-install method to get me by till I could bring it to the alignment shop the next morning.

Well the truck already felt much better driving home that night, the caster may need to come back a bit as it started rubbing the front lower limited flares that I trimmed months ago but figured no worries.

So the next morning I head to the alignment shop (the only one in town) and the tech comes out, looks at the truck and says the tires stick out past the flares so he can not work on it, I let him know that I have spacers on and can remove them and bring the truck back if that is ok. Then he looks at the UCAs and says that he can not touch it cause the UCAs are aftermarket. /Sigh

All these issues come up because of Japan's JCI Inspections that happen every 2 years for vehicles and shops refuse to work on vehicles with obvious violations.

So now I need to look at doing the best alignment I can myself or there maybe an Offroad shop about 2hr drive away but will need to confirm first that they will do it with the UCAs that I have.

This is some of the problem with Mod'ing vehicles in Japan, don't let the movies fool you, there are not a lot of heavily modified vehicles here. The only ones that are, are not legally allowed to drive on the street.

Sorry about the rant, just frustrated. :(
Any tips on a DIY alignment?

you can do a decent DIY alignment (caster mostly) with a nice level, some jackstands, and some string. I won't type it all out here, because there are really nice DIYs out there already. ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc8Iht1twuo check out this one for example.
You can also use the level (or download the app "tiltmeter" for your phone) and you can adjust your camber that way.

Thanks man, I will start looking into these. :)
