As I was just scrolling through facebook passing the time I stumble across this shit...



and here i sit working, paying taxes unlike these two ass holes, to pay for their child care while they're in vegas. To top it off my wife is the NICU nurse caring for their child. They come in the hospital between 12am and 3am (when they do actually remember they have a kid) stoned out of there mind. They've damaged hospital equipment used to help heal the baby by being careless, They've disrespected nurses attempting to instruct them on how to do their job, and the irritating list continues.

There's a girl that I went to school with years ago. She always posts about not being able to get a job, turns out she can't get one because she smokes pot and fails the drug tests and the jobs that don't drug test, she can't make it to the interviews because she has no money for gas because she spent it on pot....


I would kill for the opportunities she gets but she just throws them away.....

the mom is on my highschool news feed and my wife knows them from seeing them at local bars with some of my old friends. She asked me if I new them when they had their baby admitted. since then it has been interesting to say the least to see what arrogance they post.

The thing to do here in Oklahoma is not get married then the mom collects welfare and the baby-daddy who lives with her works and makes good money. Or sometimes married couples (both have the same last name and refer to each other as husband/wife) register at the hospital as single so the wife and kids can get care under Medicaid.

I love it when we discharge Medicaid patients and they meet us at the curb in a late model Tahoe, etc.

Oh well...... They don't make the rules, they're just playing the game. Is it their fault or ours for making it so easy?

Wait until the baby has a complication...the drugged up mother and father will come down hard on the hospital as any loving parent would! You will then see all sorts of relatives coming out of nowhere...well, actually, they will be coming out of the local drug houses...as any loving relative would.

Definitely understand the frustration from seeing the product of the welfare state, especially given that your wife deals with it on a daily basis. It sure is a good thing theres a drug test you have to pass to collect welfare :frusty:

Totally understand what you are saying. My wife also is an NICU nurse in Newark NJ of all places. She's been at it for over 20 years and she can't imagine doing anything else. People who work in those units are angels sent from heaven. Nothing but complete admiration and respect for those very dedicated and caring people. Helps me keep the pressures of my job in perspective when I get frustrated. On my worst day, nobody is ever sick or dies. These angels deal with that regularly. They see mothers who've never been to doctors, continuously drink, do drugs, etc. Then you have the parents that live right but just got a very bad break with a child in a unit like that - and your heart breaks to see it. Fortunately, far more babies leave that unit than don't thanks to the unbelievable care given. They even did a documentary for cable TV a few years back featuring my wifes unit. Amazing work. Amazing people.

Regarding the parents you speak of, I know it and I've seen it. Makes me want to kill people sometimes. Some people don't deserve the privilege to walk this Earth, let alone live in this country.

I was at the Grocery store one day, The fat caw lady in front of me had 4 snot nosed kids that were loud as all get up, she paid for her groceries with the wic program card. { government aid } I check out with the few items i have and wonder towards my truck in the parking lot. Low and behold the same women is parked right next to me and she is loading up her heard and her 10 bags of groceries into her Brand new { still with dealer plates } ESCALADE. WTF , WTF, WTF, WTF.

1. you should have to pass some kind of test to have children.
2, if you are going to collect from the government, outside of a disability, You should be required to perform a work program like FDR supplied the country with back in the day. Planting trees, clean up graffiti or trash, work in a old folks home etc etc.
my favorite 3, be eliminated fro the gene pool.
