Tires for Daystar 2.5/1.5

can someone tell me the size tire that will fit on a daystar 2.5/1.5 im i would like to not have to do any trimming but i will take off front mud flaps if needed. I have looked on picture thread but cant seem to get a definite answer.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 265/70/17's are about the biggest with no trimming. You might be able to do a 255/85 or something like that ... pizza cutters.

I just installed the daystar and put 265/70-17 dueler at's on my runner and have some rubbing in reverse.

I dont see how you could possibly fit another size up without serious rubbing???

I put on 265/70/17 Wild Country's without any spacers and have no rubbing. Slight decrease in MPG.

I am in the process of trying Firestone Destination 275/70r17's and I had to move the front wheel liners forward. I am starting to think that other than going with a stock size, you will have to do some sort of modification with any oversize tire on a 4th gen.

Correct.

It's tough with tapatalk. But still quicker than the full site during the day.
